Brand new for this October half term, Swanage Railway transforms into a world of Halloween magic. Step aboard our Ghost Train for a fun-filled journey of gentle chills, big smiles, and unforgettable memories - perfect for the whole family.

Family-Friendly Frights
The Ghost Train is designed for all ages. Younger passengers will love the costumes and decorations, while older children can enjoy the immersive Halloween atmosphere. Adults can sit back, relax, and watch the magic unfold.

Dates, Times & Prices
Dates: Saturday 25 October - Sunday 2 November 2025
Times: 12:45, 14:15, 15:45, 17:15 (start and end at Norden Station, journey lasts approximately 1 hour)
Prices: £22 adult, £15 child (under 3s travel free), carers accompanying less abled passengers are permitted to travel free.

• All bookings are final, no refunds are available.
• One wheelchair space is available per train.
• Carer discount is available on this service, see above.
• Discounts are not available on this service.
• We reserve the right for operational reasons to move your booked seats.
• Prams and pushchairs cannot be conveyed on halloween trains.
• No dogs except assistance dogs.
• If you wish to sit near another family, please make one booking to cover all seats.

Disabled passengers can have a carer accompany them free of charge. To apply for a carers tickets please email [email protected] with the following information. We will make your booking and contact you to arrange payment.

• Your Name, Address, and Phone number
• Date and time of travel
• Number of passengers (adults, children – 3 to 15 inclusive, infants under 3, carers)
• A copy of one of the following proofs -  Access card with essential companions listed, Personal Independence Payment (PIP) Document, Disability Living Allowance Record Book, Attendance Allowance Book, Invalidity Benefit Book, Visual Impairment Registration Card (BD8), Blue/Orange Parking Permit or written confirmation of the above from the DWP with photographic identification.
