This two-hour DVD tells the story of the first trains from London to Swanage in many years. The Purbeck Pioneer on 1 April 2009 was the first passenger train between London and Swanage since 1972. Hauled by DB Schenker Class 66 66152 this was a historic moment for Swanage Railway. On month later, the first steam-hauled train between London and Swanage since 1967 was brought in by 34067 Tangmere. This DVD is available direct from the Swanage Railway shop here.

Includes substantial archive footage as well as up-to-date showing all Swanage Railway's locomotives in operation. Includes the arrival of the first train from London since 1972 and the first steam passenger train from London since 1967 behind Tangmere.
