Swanage Railway's Dining Services - Wessex Belle Bistro

The Wessex Belle Bistro

Our popular Wessex Belle Bistro will again be running during 2012. This diesel-hauled service operates most Friday evenings from May until October. There's no need to book in advance, but this is advised during peak season, with dining choices decided on the train. If you book within 7 days, either on-line or via our Booking Office, your tickets will be waiting for you on the train as they may not reach you in time by post. The menu changes to take advantage of seasonal produce.

A sample Wessex Belle Bistro menu is available for download here and displayed on this page.

Our menu includes Beef, Mushroom & Ale stew and a variety of other choices including Starters and Sweets. See our sample menu on the right for more information. Try it out. No need to book in advance.

Alternatively, join the train to enjoy a drink from the bar while traveling through the Purbeck countryside.

Join the train at Swanage, Harman's Cross, Corfe Castle or Norden.

Wessex Belle Bistro table reservation and fare: £6.
