The Swanage Railway is pleased to announce the launch of our new Senior Saver Card.

The Swanage Railway has expanded its services over the last few years, with scheduled trains now running most weekends throughout the year and during many evenings between Easter and the end of September.

If you are aged 60 or over, you are entitled to 25% off all fares on regularly scheduled services with your Swanage Railway Senior Saver. Exclusions are The Wessex Belle, Yellow Timetable trains during July and August and certain Special Events. For full Terms and Conditions applying to the card, please see below.

To take advantage of this, simply fill out the form in our downloadable leaflet and hand it in to the Booking Office at Swanage Station, along with two passport size photographs, proof of age (typically a pasport or driving licence) and £10.00. Your card will normally be ready for collection within 24 hours and is valid for 12 months from date of issue.

Senior Saver Terms & Conditions

• The Swanage Railway Senior Saver is available to passengers over 60 years of age only. Proof of age must be shown when applying for the card.
• The annual cost of a Senior Saver is £10 payable on application.
• Holders on the Senior Saver are entitled to a 25% discount on travel on Swanage Railway scheduled services subject to advertised exclusions. The Senior Saver cannot be used for discount in the Swanage Railway shop or buffet services.
• The Senior Saver must be shown when purchasing tickets and when requested by any member of the railway staff.
• The Senior Saver cannot be used for discounted travel on dining trains or certain special events.
• These terms & conditions may be changed by the Swanage Railway Company and posted at www.swanagerailway.co.uk.
