Andrew P.M. Wright recently shared the footplate of the 16.20 train from Swanage to Harman's Cross, Corfe Castle and Norden park and ride. The train was hauled by Southern Locomotives Ltd's 1954 Brighton-built Standard Class 4 Tank No. 80078 on the Swanage Railway on Sunday, July 2nd, 2000. The driver was Kevin Martin and the fireman Barry Light, seen in one of the photographs in front of 80078's classmate 80104 at Swanage locoshed. All the photographs on this page were taken on Sunday June 25th, 2000, by Andrew P.M. Wright the Swanage Railway official photographer & press officer.
