In a repeat of the momentous event on the 9th June, Southern Locomotives Ltd's ex-BR Standard Class 4 tanks No. 80078 of 1954 and No. 80104 of 1955 have again hauled together a regular timetabled passenger train on the Swanage Railway.

Thanks to Swanage Railway Operations Manager Paul McDonald, the repeat run took place on Sunday, June 11th, 2000, allowing weekend visitors to the Swanage Railway to witness the marvellous sight of the two powerful locomotives hauling the 4.20 pm train from Swanage to Harman's Cross, Corfe Castle and Norden in brilliant sunshine.

Andrew P.M. Wright was able to provide us with these photographs of this historic event.
