London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) Peppercorn A1 class No. 60163 Tornado at the rear of the
Purbeck Tornado leaves the Swanage Railway

As No. 60163 Tornado is too long to turn at Swanage on the railway's 50 foot turntable,
Class 67 No. 67029 'Royal Diamond' headed the huge train for the section to Southampton
where the train was then headed once again by No. 60163 Tornado
Swanage Railway's official photographer & press officer Andrew P.M. Wright has
