Swanage Railway supporters Dave Cook and Nathan Au have supplied the first views of some of the
locomotives at the Swanage Railway's annual Diesel Gala and Beer Festival
being held 7th to 9th May 2010.

The three-day Beer Festival next to Harman's Cross station -
between Corfe Castle and Swanage - runs from Friday,
May 7, to Sunday, May 9, 2010, alongside the
Swanage Railway's annual three-day diesel gala with seven
visiting ex-British Rail main line diesel locomotives.

Here a few pictures taken between Corfe Castle and Norden on Saturday 8th May, the second day of the 3-day Gala.
It was an interesting day as 73 119 "Borough of Eastleigh" and
3417 "Gordon Pettit" failed in the morning and unfortunately
the shuttles were subsequently suspended.
Services were delayed but continued with two trains running until the
4VEP was later reintroduced to service in the afternoon.
