The two loco crews with Bulleid Pacifc No 34028 Eddystone at Motala on the evening of Friday 11th September 2009

Andrew P.M. Wright has supplied over 60 photos of the first Swanage Railway trains to Motala, on the evening of Friday 11th September 2009 - the first day of the steam gala. To see the full set of photos, please scroll down to the bottom of the page.

The guard was Dave Norton, and the crew of Bulleid Pacifc No 34028 Eddystone on the Wareham end was driver Oscar Martin and fireman Aaron Hunt.

The crew of visiting S&DJR No. 88 was driver Ian McDavid and fireman Billy Johnson.
