This shot shows a Deltic flashing through Wareham bound for Weymouth with a rake of MkIII coaches. It had brought a train down to Bournemouth for the Labour Party conference and was taking the empty rake to Weymouth.
This shot is of a Class 47 loco 47 763 at Wareham when it arrived at Wareham with a rake of green Mk I carriages. Again, this train had come to Bournemouth with a Labour Party Conference train on the first day of the conference and had come to Wareham to be stored in the 'down' side sidings until going back to Bournemouth at the end of the afternoon.
