The popular show is held in a large field alongside the railway close to the station at Harman's Cross. The car show is run jointly by the Dorest Austin 7 club and the Swanage Railway. Railway passengers just have to show their tickets for free entry to the show.
As well as the charming display of Austin 7s, no two of which are identical, there are cars from many other marques, including Morris, Austin and Standard.
Many car owners return year after year to combine their two interests in classic cars and steam railways at the one event.
This year, there was a particularly fine collection of classic motor bikes on display.
Other attractions for the whole family included a bouncy castle, the famous beer tent serving Dorset ales, an autojumble and a selection of plants and homemade cakes.
The glorious July sunshine helped to make this a memorable weekend for participants and visitors alike, and already plans are being made for next year's event.
