Rebuilt West Country Class Bulleid Pacific No. 34028 Eddystone during
Swanage Railway's Branch Line Weekend
on Saturday 12th April 2008. Eddystone was the first rebuilt Bulleid Pacific to be
withdrawn from BR service in the mid-1960s.
Swanage Railway volunteers took the Isle of Purbeck back to the
‘Swinging 1960s’ when they staged a nostalgic fund-raising
Branch Line Weekend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 11, 12 & 13 April 2008.
