Brush Class 47 No. 47 635 which was built for British Railways at Crewe and was brought into traffic on 29th July, 1964 seen leaving Corfe Castle for Harman's Cross and Swanage during Swanage Railway's Sixties weekend on 25th/26th November 2007.

Andrew P.M. Wright has supplied nearly 200 superb photos of this year's Swanage Railway's Sixties weekend of trains with a representative selection of locomotives from the changeover years between steam and diesel haulage in service on the Swanage Railway.

Andrew's photos feature two steam locomotives ex-GWR Pannier Tank No 7714 and BR Standard Class 4 No. 80104, plus two diesel locomotives Class 33 D6515 'Stan Symes' (BR TOPS number 33 012) and the massive Brush Class 47 No. 47 635 which was built for British Railways at Crewe and was brought into traffic on 29th July, 1964.
