SWANAGE RAILWAY TRUST SUPER PRIZE DRAW 2007 RESULTS

The Swanage Railway Trust Super Prize Draw 2007 took place at 2:30pm on Sunday 25th November at Swanage station. There were 8 prizes in all, and all tickets were drawn by the Swanage Town Mayor, Cllr Suttle.

The First Prize was £5,000 cash, and a range of runner up prizes were also awarded in addition to the £5,000 First Prize.

Congratulations go to D. Davis who won the First Prize.

Swanage Railway supporters have run an annual draw for many years to raise funds for the Swanage Railway Trust projects, and this year's draw was also in aid of a range of projects around the railway. Mick Hatton again acted as promoter after the success of last year's draw.

The Swanage Railway Trust thanks everyone for their support and says that a significant surplus will have been raised by the draw for SRT projects.

Following the popularity and success of the 2007 draw, there will be another draw held next year. Full details will be available in Spring 2008.

Funds raised this year will go towards repair to running condition of the Car 14 Pullman observation car for use at Swanage, plus other key projects.
