BR Standard Class 4 2-6-4 Tank 80104 with Black Prince at Swanage 20/7/97 Built in March 1955 at Brighton works, and normally based at Plaistow, its final shed was Machynlleth from which it was withdrawn in July 1965, arriving at Barry Island scrapyard in January 1966. Bought by the Southern Steam Trust, the loco was displayed in the headshunt at Swanage in September 1984 after a cosmetic restoration and stayed there for a number of years. In the photograph, the headshunt can be seen occupied on 20th July 1997 by Class 9F Black Prince, while 80104 runs around for the next service to Harman's Cross, Corfe Castle and Norden.
