The Swanage Railway's weekend of steam to mark the 40th anniversary of the last steam trains
on the Southern Region of British Railways saw a magnificent appearance by no less than seven superb steam locomotives, operating an
intensive train service between Norden park and ride, Corfe Castle, Harman’s Cross, Herston and Swanage.
