Bulleid Battle of Britain class 92 Squadron No 34081 being re-coupled to its tender at the Norden road-rail interchange after
arriving at Swanage from the North Norfolk Railway on Wednesday 4th July, 2007.
As part of the preparation for the Swanage Railway's biggest and best special event ever - the exciting three-day 40th anniversary end of
Southern steam event - Bulleid Battle of Britain class 92 Squadron No 34081 arrived at the Swanage Railway via road transporter at
Norden from the North Norfolk Railway on Wednesday 4th July, 2007.

Also appearing with the famous Bulleid locomotive at the landmark event were 6 other steam locos, including
three Swanage Railway’s resident locomotives – 1897-designed
LSWR M7 tank No. 30053 built at Nine Elms in London in 1905 and BR Standard Class
4 Tanks No. 80078 and No. 80104 both built at Brighton in 1954 and 1955 respectively.
The other guest locomotives were No.
30075 visiting from East Somerset Railway,
No. 73129 visiting from Midland Railway Centre and No. 76079 visiting between its mainline commitments from Riley and Son.
