A view from the new footbridge at Corfe Castle station after its official opening on 28th April 2007 as BR Standard 4MT No. 80104 pulls into the down platform from Norden.
Andrew P.M.Wright has supplied a selection of photographs of Corfe Castle footbridge taken at night, with
evening services passing under the newly opened footbridge at Corfe Castle on Saturday 28th April 2007 - the day of its opening..
The historic photos show the first pass under the newly opened bridge by the DMU evening service and the Wessex Belle dining train.
DMU driver Pete Frost and signalman Paul Clements at Corfe Castle on Saturday 28th April 2007
The signalman on duty was Paul Clements. The DMU driver is Pete Frost and his guard was Steve Whittingstall.
The Wessex Belle crew was driver Dan Main and fireman Bill Patten.
