Thomas stands at Corfe Castle station on the Swanage Railway on 24th February, 2007.

Thomas delighted thousands of visitors when he visited the Swanage Railway for nine days of fun and frolics between Saturday 17th to Sunday 25th February, 2007. The Thomas events are important for the Swanage Railway because they bring to life a favourite children's character which encourages children to become more interested in steam railways and perhaps become the heritage railway volunteers of the future.

Andrew P.M. Wright has supplied nearly 160 photos taken during the second weekend of Thomas's latest visit to the Swanage Railway between Saturday 17th to Sunday 25th February, 2007.

On the footplate of BR Standard class 4 number 80104 on the Swanage Railway on 24th February, 2007 is the crew of the Standard Tank - driver George Shields (right) and fireman Mick Tilly (middle) with guests, David Martin and Sarah Foster, from the Talyllyn narrow guage railway in North Wales.

Andrew's photos also take us behind the scenes in the signal boxes at Corfe Castle, Harmans Cross and SWanage, and on the footplate with Swanage Railway's volunteers who all helped make this event such a success for our visitors.

We have split the photos over several pages. Please follow the links at the foot of this page for more photos.
