BRANCH LINE WEEKEND

STEP BACK IN TIME TO A 1960s BRANCH LINE

A chance to savour the atmosphere of a Southern seaside branch line in the heyday of rail travel.

There will be a wide variety of trains operating hauled by steam and diesel locomotives ranging from small tank engines to a mighty Bulleid ‘West Country’ class locomotive.

As well as passenger services there will be some demonstration goods train running and a vintage vehicle display at Corfe Castle.

As a former Somerset and Dorset engine 34028 will be marking the 40th anniversary of its closure at this event.

There will be evening trains with bar and dining facilities on the Saturda night. Advanced booking for the dining train is essential. Please contact the reservations office on 01929 425800 for further information and dining bookings.
