Andrew P.M. Wright has sent us these photographs taken on Monday 1st March 2004, showing showing rebuilt West Country Class no. 34028 Eddystone during its first photographic charter since its return to service on Saturday 28th February 2004. Eddystone was the first rebuilt Bulleid Pacific to be withdrawn from BR service in the mid-1960s. The drivers were Ron Roberts in the morning and George Crouch in the afternoon. The fireman all day was Mick Hatton. Because of the large number of photographs, we have had to split the page into two separate items.
