Useful Information when visiting the Swanage Railway:Latest information - recorded service information and the booking office may be contacted by phone on 01929 425800. Latest events information is also available on the web site at www.swanagerailway.co.uk here Parking details - Car parks are located adjacent to Norden,Harman's Cross and Swanage stations (charges apply). There is no car parking at Corfe Castle station or Herston Halt. Tickets - Tickets may be purchased at Norden, Corfe Castle and Swanage stations as well as on the train. Credit cards are only accepted at Norden, Corfe Castle and Swanage. Tickets may also be purchased via the web site using a credit card. Refreshments - are available daily at Swanage station. Toilet facilities - are available at Swanage, Corfe Castle and Norden stations, and on most trains. There are no toilet facilities at Harman's Cross station. Disabled toilets and baby-changing facilities are only available at Norden. The nearest disabled toilet to Swanage station is located on the seafront (400 metres away).

Bicycles on trains
Bicycles are currently carried free of charge, subject to space being available Dogs on trains: We welcome dogs and their owners on our trains. Dogs may travel on trains in the passenger accommodation (excluding catering vehicles). Effective 1st May there will be a charge for Dogs (Except Assistance Dogs). Charges are £1 single and £2 return, to/from any destination. Dogs must not be allowed on the seats. Dogs cannot (except guide dogs) be conveyed on Santa Special trains. Disabled access - is available to most trains and step-free to all station platforms No Smoking - Smoking is prohibited on all Swanage Railwayproperty and trains.
