Invest in the success of the Swanage Railway by becoming a member
What are Swanage Railway's aims?
What are the benefits of membership?
What are the levels of membership and what do they cost?As discussed at the AGM on 23/09/06 there are several changes to membership that became effective from 1st January 2007. However, resulting from discussion at the March 2007 CoM meeting, the alignment with the government's retirement age initiative has been postponed to the advantage of our members, and the SRT will retain the age of attaining senior rate for men and women at 60. There will also be a small revision of membership rates overall, and the removal of the 'Student' membership category, with members either being Junior, Adult or Senior. The changes will apply to all persons joining after 1st January 2007. Summary of the membership categories effective from 1st January 2007:
Annual membership
Overseas members
Overseas members are asked to pay a supplement to cover the net additional cost of mailing their quarterly magazine abroad.
