Sounds of Summer Musical Express

The ‘Sounds of Summer Musical Express’ will feature  the talented four piece vocal harmony band ‘Driftwood’ playing  music from the 60’s to the present day, including Beatles, Stones, Elbow, Eagles and many other classic covers.

The steam hauled train departs Swanage at 1930 (doors open 1845) for Corfe Castle returning back at 2200hrs. Come in fancy dress of a ‘Mid - Summer Theme’ with a prize awarded for the best costume.

Driftwoord will play one set prior to departure from Swanage and two sets at Corfe Castle. 

Bring your own picnic and drink, there will also be a  drinks trolley available on board.

Driftwood is a talented four piece vocal harmony band who all come from the Southampton area.  They will be playing  music from the 60’s to the present day, including Beatles, Stones, Elbow, Eagles and many other classic covers. The  band was formed in 2006 and is made up of two guitarists (Darren and Brian) a bass player (Andy) and a vocalist (Mark). All the band members are experienced vocalists creating scope to perform superb harmonies and a wide range of songs.  They have consistently impressed their audiences having played  in over 60 venues across the south of England.
