Swanage Railway Special Class 47 Service Sunday 17th June 2007
The Swanage Railway is pleased to announce a rare opportunity of Class 47 diesel haulage
on The Purbeck Line on Sunday 17th June 2007. (Normal steam-hauled services will also be in operation.)

Swanage via Corfe Castle and Harman's Cross on 12th May 2007
On Sunday 17th June 2007 the Swanage Railway’s normal Green Timetable will be in operation,
with a mix of steam and diesel haulage.
On this date, by special arrangement, the diesel trains (marked as D on the timetable) will be hauled by Class 47 locomotive, 47 635.
